Romance Lives In Wolf Peak Territory
Autumn big howls and yowls, shapeshifter lovers.
Although, there's been more summery weather now than back in August. Weird, huh? But my tame prairie is preparing for winter...the leaves are falling.
So, long time, no post. I've been seriously under the weather—sicker than I have been for a very long time. And it could have been an allergy situation instead of an intestinal flu. Whatever, I'm recovering well. Thank the Divine.
What was odd about being so sick too, was that I'd signed up for a free trial that used scalar energy for healing. Instead of feeling much better. Nope. It was the opposite. Surprising, because so many people have had good healing results with this particular treatment.
Okay, just past midnight here...the winds have picked up. A storm could be rolling in...hard to tell since the weather map keeps changing. Anyway, I signed up to do another author post on October 23 for Delilah Devlin's fabulous blog ~https://www.delilahdevlin.com~
And! I'm also participating in erotic author, Kate Hill's Halloween Page Promo ~http://kate-hill.com/blog~ She's having each of us authors finish a sentence which starts out this way: "On a cold dark night..."
I had fun writing mine. Tease: hellhounds included.
Yes, I've managed to write another two hundred words of my ongoing flash-scene story. The previous flash scenes can be accessed above. Just click the tab for the page.
Summer of Her Golden Wolf
Impulsively, Kassy uttered, "Why do I feel okay...so much better?"
Vitality like she hadn't known in ages spread through Kassy. She smiled spontaneously. Oh yeah, nothing this miraculous, nothing this unexplainable had happened in a long, long time. Her golden wolf dog and this sudden rejuvenation...wow!
Once paranormal events had been plentiful, amazing in her life–but had died out when her health rapidly declined.
"Why don't we go outside?" Kassy leaned forward to open the minivan's back door. Her hand sank into a pile of...was it clothing? "What's this? I know I didn't leave any clothes back here."
Zorzun spun around quick as if he really wanted to go outside. He used his shoulder to bump his future mate enough so her hand lifted away from his human clothing. Now what? How did he distract her?
"Okay, okay, big boy. I'll open the door." Within moments she'd shoved the door open, and was following him as he leaped outside.
Zorzun whirled to her. Attempting to look as doggie-cute as he could, he playfully lowered to his front legs, then wagged his tail.
"Aren't you impressively adorable?" She cupped his face and caressed his furry cheeks with her palms.
